I am thrilled to endorse Ruth for re-election as Assistant Secretary (Professional Staff). 

Under her outstanding leadership, the NTEU's Women's Action Committee (WAC) in Victoria has thrived, empowering women activists and driving campaigns for improving workplace rights. 

Ruth's dedication is shown in her tireless advocacy for better conditions such as through supporting elected Health and Safety Representatives, and her strategic understanding of how powerful HSRs can be for better workplaces. 

Ruth's commitment and drive are evident in her unwavering stance against the state government's brutal cuts to WorkCover entitlements, ensuring that our concerns were heard loud and clear in the parliamentary inquiry. 

Ruth is not just a leader behind the scenes – Ruth stands with us on the picket lines and at our rallies, showing true solidarity in our fight for fair pay, security, and respect at work.
