I am proud to endorse Ruth for Victorian Assistant Secretary (Professional Staff) based on her unwavering dedication and tireless advocacy on behalf of professional staff in our sector. She embodies the core values of integrity, collectivism, and solidarity that are fundamental to our union's mission. 

Having worked at three universities over a decade, Ruth's experience in the sector stands her in good stead to represent professional staff across the wide range of universities and TAFEs in Victoria.

In her current term as Assistant Secretary, she has consistently demonstrated reliability, honesty, hard work, and a deep commitment to achieving respect and recognition for professional staff. Ruth’s leadership extends beyond the boardroom where she has been active on the ground, standing side-by-side with members at rallies and picket lines to win better pay, security, and workplace safety.
