Bronwyn Smith – Swinburne Vice-President (Professional Staff)

I have no hesitation in endorsing Ruth in the role of NTEU Division Assistant Secretary.

Ruth comes from deep experience at the ‘coalface’ as a university employee in Victoria.

She is a tireless advocate for all university workers, from supporting individuals with grass roots concerns, to campaigning for major systemic issues that impact all workers and the union. Her particular focus is a safe work place, and social justice and equity for all.
